Welcome to my blog! I am a natural light portrait photographer based out of Springfield, IL and serving the greater Central Illinois area. I have a great passion for people and learning about them, and I believe that photos can craft the story of people's lives just like words can. I have fallen in love with photography as an attempt to freeze the sweet moments in life that tell those stories that we want to remember forever. While I have always loved pictures, after having my first son, I knew that I wanted to be able to recall his ever-changing smiles, the way his hair sticks out everywhere, and the wonder on his face when he plays with toys to recall years later. This inspired me to get into photography as a business- I decided I wanted to give your memories to you also!
My style is based on natural, lifestyle type photos of you and your loved ones as you are today. I love photographing couples, maternity, newborn babies, and families. In addition to being a photographer, I am a mom to an amazing little boy (and an energetic and adorable dog!), wife to a wonderful man, and a music teacher.
