Emily: Class of 2015 | Springfield, IL Senior Photography

Sometimes, sessions just click, and I have been feeling that a lot this season! The subject, locations, style, all of it just works together. Emily's was one of those sessions- it might have a lot to do with the fact that Emily is a DREAM to photograph. She has such a gentle spirit and it really shows in her photographs. She giggles easily, and while she is VERY shy in her performing at school, and a much more self conscious than she should be, it does NOT show in her images! She was just EASY. Emily is lovely...but there is something about her that is very traditional...a very classic type of beauty, and also a bit of simplicity. Nothing about Emily is overdone- she is natural, kind, and perfect just as she is. I can't wait for you to see these beautiful fall images...meet Emily!!

This set might be one of my favorites...ever! Some could say the glitter is overdone...but I work hard to craft one essential truth in my students (well, many)...and one of them is "You can NEVER have too much glitter!".

I end with one of my favorite senior images of the year...I just adore Em's expression, and it says so much about her!  And...I adore the glitter remnants, making a girl who already shines immensely sparkle just a little bit more!
