There is something absolutely contagious about the energy of a family with 3 darling girls age 7 and under! Meet the W family.
I have had the pleasure of knowing these lovely people for a few years- Mac and I were on a show staff together for my first magical Muni directing experience back in 2010, when him and his lovely wife just had 2 sweet girls. Then I got to know Carrie much better after we had babies last year just a month apart- she was a saving grace for me as a new mother, and offered so much information and kindness.
They form this wonderful, joyful family unit that is always bustling and busy, and I really think Mac and Carrie should wear capes at all times and insist people call them Super-Mac and Super-Carrie based on how many hats each of them wears! But the hats I think I like the very best are "mom" and "dad".
Carrie's 3 daughters are pretty independent in their own ways, but just LOVE their mama. What I enjoyed so much was seeing the JOY between them- there is such a playfulness and a silliness between them. It is infectious.
And there are few things sweeter than a seeing a dad be tender with his children...especially his daughters. And especially Mac, who is a very manly sort of guy.
Let me tell you, these girls absolutely adore their dad.
Each of these girls, who I will call A1, A2, and A3 as Carrie does in her blog, has their own personalities and quirks.
Meet A1: Oldest, a bit of a caretaker, a bit of a goofball :)
A2 is very spunky, sweet, and lively- just a total ball of energy.
And A3, who reminds me so much of my sweet baby because of the age similarity. She is a bit more guarded, a bit more cautious than her older sisters, as though she is already learning their lessons...but when she warms up a bit, she is fascinating.
It has been a joy to be a bit of a witness to this family over the years, and to their new additions.
Mac and Carrie- thank you for welcoming me into this part of your story, and I look forward to the continuing years of friendship!!
