Hannah and Sarah: Sisters| Springfield, IL Family Photography

I was so touched when this lovely set of sisters approached me about doing a surprise session for their mom for mothers day.   As a mother, I know how much that would mean to me!  It has been so hard to keep it a secret from our session until now because they are just BEAUTIFUL!  I have known these two ladies for a long time as our lives have intertwined with each other in multiple ways, and they both along with their parents (and dog) mean a great deal to my family.  We went out on a cloudy, warm evening and did our session in a lovely spot that Mike and I use as our measure of "true nature" in the area we live in (or as close as we can get)- it is a beautiful location, and we had a beautiful time.
Hannah's man came to join us for a few pictures too!  Enjoy the lovely Hannah and Sarah.

Hannah and Sarah, you are both gorgeous.  Thanks for sharing your evening with me.  And Julie--Happy Mother's Day to one of my favorite mothers-- I hope these serve as good memories of your girls at this stage in life.

  1. As the mother of these two beauties, I can't tell you how much this surprise gift means to me!! First of all, I still can't believe they managed to keep it a secret! Neither one is known for having a "poker face"! And NOW I understand why I couldn't go to Panera with all of you! And Jill, it means so much that YOU are taking these pictures...makes them all the more special! What I find so amazing is how you really "captured" them. There are subtle looks that I see on their faces that say, "this is me"! And it's not just because you know them personally. You've only met David a time or two, and yet you've managed to capture him as well! You truly have a gift for this Jill, and the camera is just an extension of what you really see in people!! Love you for this!
