This recent extended family session was so much fun for me! It was the first I have done in a situation exactly like this, and I quite enjoyed it. I work with one of the ladies in this group, who is my reference point for the "mom", and got to photograph her, her husband, her 3 kids and one of their wives, her 2 grand babies, and her mom. We met early in the morning to fight off the heat, and really enjoyed ourselves.
This family really rotates around the grand-babies, and it was so fun to see! There is a large age range between all of the kids, and it makes for such a fun and playful dynamic between them all. It is very clear that there is a lot of fun, and a lot of love in this family, and I was so thankful to be a part of it!
Meet the M-S family (of course, there are a few last names represented in any extended family!):

2 different generations represented here, but they are the "kids" in my mind- Tyler, the older boy here, was one of my munchkins in the second show I ever directed, and is now going to be a freshmen in high school- I can't believe how quickly time flies!

4 generations shown here on the left, and I think they look so much alike. I adore seeing the family resemblance.

One must always ask little girls to twirl!

These 3 were so cute together!

This little babe, Eli, was so tired but such a trooper through the session. He is a serious baby, but is also so seriously loved!

Such sweet moments here.

Grandma and her grandbaby.

I adore the happiness in this shot.

Sweet sleepy eyes!

And finally, almost ready for a nap.

We took a little time to play after the session- everyone loves some play time! Thanks M-S family, I had such fun with you all!
