The A Family: Springfield, IL Family photographer

It's a universal fact...photographers LOVE fall. And what isn't to love?! Last week, I had my first session with a family that began to look like fall, and I was in creative heaven!  The colors and smells and light is just awesome- perhaps that's why my husband and I chose to get married in the fall!
I met this sweet and fun family of four at a beautiful park nearby and had an absolute blast!  Jennie and Curt and their two boys were so energetic, playful, musical, and photogenic!  It was such a fun session for me- while I absolutely adore photographing families I know, there is something really special about getting to know a new family for the first time while trying to learn about them and capture who they are, all in just over an hour!  Jennie and Curt's easy-going and comfortable personalities and interactions made it so easy for me- and their boys just adore them and each other!

And the guitar playing father and son duo was equally wonderful!


We got some pictures of just their oldest son, who is a senior this year!

These brothers live apart from each other for much of the year, and I just adore this sweet representation of their hearts in different states...
