Favorites of 2013: Babies!

For the years that I had read photography blogs before starting my own, the end of the year favorites posts from the photographers that I loved were some some of my FAVORITES to read! It was so fun to take a brief review of their work, by subject, and see what images were on their favorites reel- so over the next week or so, I am going to share my 2013 favorites with you! As the photographer, it is really fun to go through and see how my work has changed, and also what has stayed the same. I am going to start with my 2013 babies!!! I just couldn't separate maternity images from the newborns themselves, so this is going to be the longest of the posts I think, but I am so excited about it! I absolutely LOVE shooting maternity images (couples are perhaps my very favorite!) and as a total baby person, I really love newborns too. When I began, I think I pictured that I would really like those sweet, serene posed baby pictures an I DO love them, but my style has changed quite a bit into more lifestyle images for newborns- I just love the pictures of them with their loved ones, being held and sleeping or interacting.
