Favorites of 2013: Seniors!

I am SO SO excited about this post! I think I have mentioned this before, but regardless of my adoration of working with high schoolers, and my familiarity with them from my teaching job, I didn't really know if I would love photographing seniors. What I knew I loved about photography from the beginning was capturing the RELATIONSHIPS between people- mother and son, husband and wife, dad and daughter...it just makes me all goey inside!  So with seniors, I wasn't sure that my passion would translate because it is just about them.  I was SO wrong!  I absolutely have adored my senior sessions, and these have been some of my favorite sessions.  I just love capturing that exciting time in their lives...the time of so much hope and dreams and possibility...it is just so special!  All of these seniors are either students of mine, family (hence the many extra shots of my beautiful niece!) or close family friends, so I have known them all for years and watched them grow, and they are SO special to me!  I grouped these images into collages so that this post wasn't quite as long as the last (click here if you missed my favorites of babies!)- I hope you enjoy these wonderful young adults from both the class of 2013 and class of 2014!!
