Julia: Carried| Newborn Photography, Springfield IL

I have had a busy winter with newborns (none that I have gotten to blog yet) and I have LOVED it!! I am really falling into a more "lifestyle" or "unposed" style with my newborns and I LOVE it! As much as I adore a beautiful posed picture of a newborn, just capturing the babies as they are with their parents and siblings totally speaks to my heart!
My latest newborn was sweet Julia just before Christmas. I have photographed this sweet family a number of times, and you will continue to see Julia's growth throughout the next 2 years, along with her sweet brother and parents--I can't wait to watch her grow! I adore Nancy and Dave and have loved watching them with Will. Julia is the most BEAUTIFUL baby--so calm and still, perfect little eyelashes, and a head FULL of striking dark hair. I just adored meeting her and cuddling her. Enjoy this sweet Christmas blessing!

The VZ Family: Fresh 48 | Springfield, IL Newborn Photographer

This beautiful little family is no stranger to this blog. I have gotten to witness and capture so many significant stages in their past couple years and I am so honored to have that privilege! But even amid photographing in hospital lighting, in their second slightly smaller room, with extremely rightfully exhausted parents, this stage might have been my favorite: the baby becoming the big sister. That is probably because we have so recently had that stage in our own family, and it was so significant for us; absolutely nothing has touched my heart in my entire life like watching my son be a big brother to his baby sister. And let's just be honest- a lot of things touch my heart! I am so excited to give these images from the VZ family's Fresh 48 to them, for their older daughter to be able to have a record of what it was like the moment she met her best friend. I cannot believe how lucky I am to get to capture these interactions...and how very thankful! I'm going to keep quiet and let the story now tell itself.
