"...It's not really about messes at all, but the stories they tell. It's about traces of childhood I see throughout my home on a daily basis. It's about the love we share together. It's about living and being...creating, making, learning and trying. This project leaves me a beautiful story each month of the reminders that Kids are here now...and the time, well, it's all too fleeting, isn't it? We all need to embrace these moments and just live them too; because they really are the best moments of life."

This is our final month of posting this project. Every month, my sweet boy and I make more messes that are really the product of playing together, and experiencing new things together...this project definitely marks a year of major development for us! If you missed April's circle, you can view it here. I am hopeful that as we move on to a different story to tell, I remember this one and continue to occasionally document the messes E (and his sister in 8 short weeks!) make. It has been so fun to capture them!
These first 2 images mark a big development for us that will help us move to a big boy bed when the baby comes...E is now ok with other animals/blankets/etc sleeping in his crib! For a year and a half, it was only him and his lovies...nothing else. Now, he throws blankets and stuffed animals in and produces a loud snore- his way of saying they are sleeping with him!
And I must end with his beloved vehicles!!
Make sure to check out my talented friend Amanda's blog here and complete the circle!!
